Lisa (she/her) is working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. She is overjoyed at the opportunity to be by your side and help guide you on your journey to healing. Lisa creates a safe and comfortable environment full of trust and compassion. Lisa has experience working with trauma and spiritual counseling for adolescents and adults in nontraditional environments. Lisa has traveled extensively and spent 10 years in Asia, which helped her deeply understand diverse cultures, values, and beliefs and their importance in clients’ lives.
Lisa’s therapeutic approach is centered on talk therapy, which helps you navigate the negative emotions, thinking, and behavior patterns you are experiencing. She is eager to learn different therapies to tailor a unique, individualized treatment plan for each client, as therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach.

You have already taken the first step in your healing process by seeking counseling. My door is open and is a judgment-free zone. I aim to help you on your journey of self-discovery and healing by building a strong and trusting therapeutic bond. My therapeutic approach is talk therapy, where together, we will uncover the sources of your emotional distress and create better-coping strategies and healthier habits.
