Angelina James, Graduate Student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Angelina (she/they) is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), with an expected graduation in May 2026. They have extensive experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy, working with children on the Autism Spectrum, and is passionate about supporting people from all walks of life, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community.
Angelina is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel fully supported in exploring their authentic selves. She believes in the importance of fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect, where clients are empowered to share their stories and navigate their journeys toward healing and self-discovery. With a person-centered approach, Angelina focuses on the unique needs, desires, and goals of each client.
Angelina is deeply passionate about mental health and its intersection with identity. They will provide a space where clients can freely explore their experiences, struggles, and growth in a compassionate and affirming environment.
